Financial Education is more Important than Algebra.
That has been our mantra for 2023. City Kids realized that our students are not being taught the necessary skills to succeed in the mordern day economy. Many public schools in MA, children do not have access to comprehensive financial literacy programs, leaving them ill-equipped to navigate the complex financial landscape they will face as they grow into adulthood. This knowledge deficit has far-reaching consequences, including a higher likelihood of financial instability and vulnerability to predatory financial practices.
To address this pressing issue, we have launched a comprehensive Financial Education Program for Boston public school students. Our program aims to bridge the knowledge gap and empower students with essential financial skills that will serve them throughout their lives. Through interactive workshops, engaging educational materials, and hands-on activities, we plan to equip these young minds with the tools they need to make informed financial decisions.
